HOSTAPHAN™ polyester films for oven applications

When cooking in the oven, films are exposed to extreme conditions, with temperatures above 200°C pushing many plastics to their limits. Even boPET shows initial signs of degradation such as thermal oxidation under this stress. Especially when there is direct contact with hot food, it is crucial that the materials used do not release any harmful substances. Our specially developed HOSTAPHAN™ films are temperature-resistant up to 220°C and contain neither antimony trioxide (Sb₂O₃) nor other critical substances. They are food-safe, reliable and easy to process – ideal for applications such as roasting bags and oven bags.
