Privacy Policy
Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in our company. We take the protection and security of your personal data entrusted to us seriously and would like you to feel safe and comfortable when visiting our Internet pages and using our services.
It is important to us that you know which personal data is collected when you make use of our offers and services and how we use them afterwards.
Purpose of data processing
Insofar as we process personal data, this is done for the purposes stated in this data protection declaration.
Processing of personal data
Visit our website
We collect and store the IP address assigned to your computer in order to transmit the contents of our website accessed by you to your computer (e.g. texts, images and files made available for download, etc.) (cf. Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). We also process this data to identify and track abuse. In this respect, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest in data processing is to ensure the proper functioning of our website and the transactions carried out on it.
If we process your data as described above for the purpose of providing the functions of our website, you are contractually obliged to make this data available to us.
When you access this website, the following data is stored in a log file:
- browser type and browser version
- operating system used
- Referrer URL
- host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
The log file is automatically deleted after 30 days.
Other purposes
Personal data is also processed if you provide it to us of your own accord, for example as part of an enquiry or booking or when ordering information material or a newsletter. The legal basis in this respect is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. The data processed by us include customer data, employee data and data from suppliers insofar as this is necessary for the purposes specified in this data protection declaration.
If we process your data as described above for the purpose of receiving and processing your respective inquiry, booking or (newsletter) order, you are contractually obliged to provide us with this data. Without these data we are not in a position to carry out an appropriate processing.
If you have consented to the processing of personal data (cf. Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR), you can revoke your consent at any time without affecting the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation.
Passing on to third parties
Information may therefore also be processed by other companies, but only to the extent that this is necessary for the purposes stated in this data protection declaration or the other company acts as a service provider / contract processor bound by instructions.
We use service providers who process data on our behalf (e.g. support in processing customer inquiries). In the cases described here, the information is passed on to these third parties to enable further processing. External service providers are carefully selected and regularly reviewed by us to ensure that your privacy is protected.
The service providers are instruction-bound service providers / contract processors and are accordingly obliged by us, among other things, to treat your data exclusively in accordance with our instructions and the applicable data protection laws. In particular, you are obliged to treat your data strictly confidential and you are also prohibited from processing the data for purposes other than those agreed.
The transfer of data to contractors is based on Art. 28 para. 1 GDPR.
We also do not sell your data to third parties, nor do we market it elsewhere.
In addition, your personal data will be forwarded without your express consent to the law enforcement authorities and, if necessary, to injured third parties if it is necessary to clarify an illegal use of our services or for legal prosecution. However, this only happens if there are concrete indications of illegal or abusive behaviour. A disclosure may also take place if this serves to enforce terms of use or other agreements. We are also legally obliged to provide information to certain public authorities upon request.
The disclosure of this data is based on our legitimate interest in combating abuse, prosecuting criminal offences and securing, asserting and enforcing claims, provided that your rights and interests in the protection of your personal data do not outweigh Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
Planned data transmission to third countries
A transfer to third countries is currently not planned, otherwise the corresponding legal requirements will be created. In particular, you will be informed about the respective recipients or categories of recipients in accordance with legal requirements.
Safety
We use technical and organizational security measures to protect your data from accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. This also applies when external services are purchased. The effectiveness of our security measures is checked and the measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments. When personal data is entered, it is always transmitted in encrypted form.
Cookies
Some of the Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain any viruses. Cookies serve to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit our website.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. When cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Cookies, which are necessary to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions desired by you (e.g. shopping basket function), are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for technically error-free and optimized provision of his services. As far as other cookies (e.g. cookies for the analysis of your surfing behaviour) are stored, these will be treated separately in this data protection declaration.
Google Analytics (with anonymization function)
We use Google Analytics (with anonymization function) as a web analysis tool on our websites. Data on visitor behaviour is collected and evaluated. Data is collected on which website you visit us, which subpages you access and how often and for how long. This helps us to analyse visitor flows, to optimise our website and for cost-benefit analysis.
Google Analytics is a tool of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland.
We use Google Analytics with the addition “_gat._anonymizeIp”. With this addition, your IP address will be shortened and anonymized by Google when you access our website.
Google uses the data and information obtained, among other things, to evaluate the use of our website, to compile online reports for us and to provide other services in connection with the use of our website.
Google Analytics places a cookie on your computer. This enables Google to analyse the use of our website and transmits data to Google for the purpose of online analysis. In this context, Google obtains information about your IP address, access time, the place from which an access originated and the frequency of visits which Google uses, among other things, to trace the origin of visitors and clicks and subsequently to enable commission settlements. This data is transferred to Google in the USA, stored and may be passed on to third parties.
You can prevent the setting of cookies at any time by means of an appropriate browser setting and thus permanently contradict the setting of cookies. Such a setting of the browser used would also prevent Google from setting a cookie on your computer. In addition, a cookie already set by Google Analytics can be deleted at any time via the browser or other software programs.
In addition, you have the opportunity to object to and prevent the collection and processing of data by Google. To do this, you must download and install a browser add-on under the link https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout . This browser add-on informs Google Analytics via JavaScript that no data and information on visits to Internet pages may be transmitted to Google Analytics. The installation of the browser add-on is considered by Google as a contradiction.
Further information and the valid data protection regulations of Google can be called up under https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and under http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html. Google Analytics is explained in more detail under this link https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/analytics/.
Advertising, e-mail advertising (newsletter)
With our newsletter we inform you about our current offers, news and products. If you would like to receive the newsletter, we need a valid email address from you. The data that are entered into the input mask during registration are collected. In order to be able to address you personally, we ask you to state the title and the name. Of course you can also use a pseudonym here. This data will only be used for sending the newsletter. In addition to these data, we also store the date of registration. This logging serves solely as proof in the event that a third party misuses your e-mail address and orders the newsletter without your knowledge.
Cancellation / revocation: Of course, you can revoke any further use of your data for advertising and marketing purposes – even if this is legally permissible without your consent (e.g. postal advertising) – at any time by simply notifying us.
You can revoke your consent to the storage of your personal data and their use for the newsletter dispatch at any time by confirming the corresponding link to unsubscribe in the newsletter.

Google Web Fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google to uniformly display fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required Web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly. To do this, the browser you are using must connect to Google’s servers. This gives Google knowledge that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. If your browser does not support web fonts, a default font is used by your computer. Further information about Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
Google Maps
This page uses the map service Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. To use the functions of Google Maps it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission. The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an appealing representation of our online offers and at an easy findability of the places indicated by us on the website. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
You can find more information on the handling of user data in Google’s data protection declaration: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
SSL- bzw. TLS-Verschlüsselung
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Links to websites of other providers
Our website may contain links to websites of other providers. We would like to point out that this data protection declaration applies exclusively to this website. We have no influence on and do not control that other providers comply with the applicable data protection regulations.
Protection of minors
Children and persons under the age of 18 should not transmit any personal data to us without the consent of their parents or legal guardians. We do not request personal data from children, do not collect them and do not pass them on to third parties.
Standard periods for the deletion of data
The legislator has enacted various retention periods and obligations. After expiry of these periods, the corresponding data is routinely deleted. If data is not affected by this, it will be deleted or made anonymous when the purposes stated in this data protection declaration cease to apply. If this data protection declaration does not contain any other, deviating regulations regarding the storage of data, the data collected by us will be stored by us for as long as they are necessary for the above-mentioned purposes for which they were collected.
Other data uses and data deletion
Further processing or use of your personal data will generally only take place if permitted by law or if you have consented to data processing or use. In the event of further processing for purposes other than those for which the data were originally collected, we will inform you of these other purposes prior to further processing and provide you with further relevant information.
Misuse detection and prosecution
Information for the detection and prosecution of misuse, in particular your IP address, will be kept available for a maximum of 7 days. The legal basis in this respect is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest in the retention of data for 7 days is to ensure the proper functioning of our website and the transactions conducted over it, and to be able to ward off cyber attacks and the like. We may use anonymous usage information to design our website to meet your needs.
