HOSTAPHAN™ polyester films for GRP panels and prepreg applications

Release films are used as a carrier material in the production of GRP panels. After processing, the film is removed. The surface of the film influences the appearance of the final product and can be glossy or matt. The release film can be up to 4.20 m wide and can be used multiple times depending on the process.

In addition to our proven release films, we offer you the high-quality HOSTAPHAN™ Protective Films. These specialised protective films are UV-stabilized, extremely durable and ideal for demanding applications. They effectively absorb UV rays and protect the product underneath.

Prepregs are uncured, sheet-like materials before processing. HOSTAPHAN™ serves as a carrier here. Under heat and pressure, the resin crosslinks to form a composite. The carrier must be easy to separate and survive the curing process unscathed.
