After seven days of the trade fair, Interpack, the world’s largest and most important trade fair for the packaging industry, ended on Wednesday in Düsseldorf. Along the entire value chain from packaging materials and packaging substrates to packaging machines, exhibitors presented the latest trends and developments. The focus was on innovative solutions ranging from sustainability to material efficiency and digitalization.
Mitsubishi Chemical Europe was also present and showcased current new developments for modern packaging solutions at its own booth.
Under the motto “Smart Packaging,” solutions for material savings as well as for more effective and sustainable packaging were the focus, presented from various areas of the Mitsubishi Chemical Group.
MITSUBISHI POLYESTER FILM particularly presented the new, energy-efficient HOSTAPHAN™ polyester film production line, which was put into operation at the beginning of this year in Wiesbaden, Germany.
There was great interest in, among other things, the HOSTAPHAN™ PET monomaterial packaging solutions as well as the HOSTAPHAN™ PCR films.
The DIAWRAP™ PVC-free stretch films, which contribute to waste reduction thanks to their low density, as well as the BOPP high-barrier film TECHBARRIER™, were also intensively discussed.
