In some markets, aluminium-free lid materials are in demand. HOSTAPHAN™ offers solutions with higher puncture and tear resistance, reliable metal detection and residue-free incineration in the recycling process. In combination with a PET cup, a monopack with potential for recycling is created.

HOSTAPHAN™ WDW has proven itself as an alternative lidding film for sealing cups. We also offer PCR films (post-consumer recycled material) for this application. Our white HOSTAPHAN™ WDW films serve as a base film for lidding applications and are printed and sealed by converters to be supplied as individual lids or rolls.

Our latest development is a white lid film with a density < 1g/m3, which can be easily separated from the cup material using the float/sink method.

In addition to our white lid films, we also offer transparent versions.
