Films are often characterised by their surface properties. Our Dual Surface films have two different surfaces that can be adjusted independently of each other.
This combines two opposing properties in one film.
Optical effects such as holograms require special surfaces. Processes that transfer surfaces from HOSTAPHAN™ films to other materials are used, for example, in casting or furniture applications. The static and sliding friction can be adjusted by the surface, so that blocking or slight sliding of two surfaces is possible.
