In many processes, films are used as carrier materials, which are removed from the final product after processing. These films are called release or process films.
HOSTAPHAN™ is ideally suited as a release and process film because its release properties can be specifically adjusted compared to other polymers, hot melt adhesives and acrylic dispersions. Other important properties include high mechanical strength, temperature stability and chemical resistance.
HOSTAPHAN™ release films serve as carrier and processing films for GRP panels. After curing, they are removed and can be reused. The film surface determines the glossy or matt appearance of the final product. The widths range up to 4.20 m.
Our in-line siliconised HOSTAPHAN™ films serve as release liners for labels and other industrial applications. The chemically anchored silicone system offers excellent release properties and minimises backside transfer. High processing speeds can be achieved by using HOSTAPHAN™ films.
