HOSTAPHAN® polyester films for lids
Lids for goods such as yoghurt must protect the product from outer influences. They ensure a good barrier against light, oxygen and water vapour and prevent the oxidation of fat. The lid must be easy to remove from the container, without tearing. And as an information carrier, good printability is essential.
As an alternative to aluminium lids, boPET solutions with HOSTAPHAN® have caught on in the market. Brilliant printed images, better mechanical properties and higher puncture resistance are key features of our lidding films. Metal detection is of course easier to perform on the packaged goods.
