Using our peelable HOSTAPHAN® RPSE and RPSM
eliminates the risk of compromising taste and quality of the packed
foods by residual solvents in the heatseal layer.
The proprietary manufacturing technology allows Mitsubishi Polyester Film to produce the sealable and peelable HOSTAPHAN® RPSE and RPSM range of films without the use of any solvents. This ensures that the films are odour and contamination free and fully food approved according to European and US regulations.
Superior mechanical properties of HOSTAPHAN® RPSE and RPSM ensure hassle free runability on all standard filling equipment without major changes.
The non heatsealable surface lends itself to printing and laminating into complex structures for demanding applications.
Experienced technical experts as well as dedicated R&D scientists are at your disposal to address technical issues or special development tasks.
Mitsubishi Polyester Films' deep market knowledge and longterm experience will keep you in touch with the latest developments in the packaging markets. Competent discussion partners will always be available for you.
Besides our program of peelable films we also offer sealable films - HOSTAPHAN RHS - for sealing of cups and trays.
The HOSTAPHAN® RPSE / RPSM range of innovative peelable heatseal films has been specifically designed for the lidding of dual ovenable trays which are used for the packaging of chilled or frozen foods. Typical applications for our peelable polyesterfilms are prepared ready meals, salads, fruit etc.
HOSTAPHAN® RPSE / RPSM is suitable modified CPET materials. Its unique features give significant advantages to the user:
The nominal gauge of HOSTAPHAN® RPSE and RPSM is also the actual gauge with a very narrow variation range. This ensures a constant high area yield.
The unique formulation of the sealing layer of HOSTAPHAN® RPSE and RPSM assures a clean peel.
The sealant will not form any threads or angel hair when being removed from the tray substrate, either hot or cold.
