Mitsubishi Polyester Film offers a variety of HOSTAPHAN® adhesion promoting film products that provide excellent surface properties for a variety of applications. Our state of the art adhesion promoting coatings improve adhesion to water and solvent- based printing inks, coatings and adhesives, as well as to metal and other substrates. These coatings ensure good wettability important for strong and stable bonds to the polyester film.
Our 2600 and 4400 series of one-side and two-side coated films are the material of choice for water based or solvent based coatings or coating dispersions as well as printing inks.
Hostaphan® 2600 and 2MA1 coated films are also designed to provide significant improvements in adhesion to metal surface layers. Our state of the art coatings promote strong bonding to the base PET layer, making it difficult for the metallized layers to separate from the film and result in delamination.
Our Hostaphan® 2CSRN coated film is an excellent choice for applications requiring excellent adhesion to solvent based inks, coatings and adhesives. This coated film is designed specifically for use in sterilized and severe retort packaging conditions.
For applications requiring sealing layers on a polyolefin base, specifically applied by extrusion coating, we offer our 2DE coated films. These films also provide excellent adhesion to special metal layers and UV curing coatings.
